Dentistry for cats and dogs is an important aspect of your pets overall health and can often aid in detecting problems before they become painful and expensive. All dental procedures are done under general anesthesia using an ultrasonic scaler to clean the teeth above and below the gumline. The teeth are then polished and the mouth rinsed with a protective oral solution. Dental x-rays are also available to detect problems within the teeth or under the gumline.
